Olympian thrower

First of all welcome to my site! I designed this website as a useful tool for getting my face out into the community's eyes. I am a yoyoer named Derek who street performs regulary all around Olympia. I have appeared in "The Olympian" the local news paper, I have Performed at Olympia high school in front of 2000+ students and faculty. I have done many demonstrations at a local toy store called "Wind Up Here" and yoyo sales have increased significantly at "Wind Up Here since I made my first public appearances in Olympia. I have also competed at several yoyo contests and I am currently ranked #5 in the Pacific North West.

I have the ability to captivate and enthrall an audience. I have sparked interests of yoyoing to the youth of Olympia, and i have reignighted the interests of the old.

I have come away from the "Pacific Northwest Regional YoYo Competion" twice and I placed well in both preliminarys and finals.

I am also making a few sections dedicated to helping others in the yoyoing community especially new yoyoers, and new people that I have influenced to pick up a yoyo and play!

 So if you see me around town or at a contest come up and say hi!!!
